Here at Access, we celebrate the cultures of the tāngata | people who surround us. Culture enrichens our experience as humans, gives us confidence and builds our character. Our whakapapa is filled with a richness of diversity and culture and as a society we haven’t always celebrated throughout the decades as it is today. Sunday the 22nd marked the beginning of the celebrations for the Chinese Lunar New Year 新年快乐. The year of the rabbit, the luckiest of the 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac. We wish everyone whether of Chinese heritage or not, a prosperous, joyous, abundant Year of the Rabbit filled with good health and hope.
