Access is excited to welcome Focus on Potential into our whānau, creating stronger, more connected care for the people we support.

Through our owners Anchorage Capital Partners, Access has acquired a shareholding in Focus on Potential – a respected provider of assessment and rehabilitation services with more than 200 clinicians working across New Zealand.

What this means for our tāngata

This partnership is all about making the journey smoother. Instead of navigating between different providers, our tāngata will have access to coordinated allied health rehabilitation services that work together seamlessly.

Focus on Potential brings expertise across physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech-language therapy, dietetics, social work, nursing and psychology – expanding the comprehensive support we can offer.

Shared values, shared vision

Focus on Potential has been championing choice, inclusion and meaningful outcomes since Managing Director Cassandra Hopkins co-founded the organisation in 2003. As an occupational therapist herself, Cassandra understands the power of helping people live to their full potential.

“I’m inspired by our common vision – that everyone in Aotearoa should be able to live independently to their maximum potential,” says Access CEO Androulla Kotrotsos. “Our organisations naturally came together through multi-disciplinary teamwork, and we share that commitment to being kaitiaki for our communities.”

Looking ahead

While our sector faces ongoing changes and challenges, this partnership opens up exciting possibilities for growth and sustainability. Most importantly, it means our tāngata get access to a wider range of coordinated services, all working toward the same goal – better health outcomes and experiences throughout their journey.

Together, we’re building something stronger and a better day, every day.
