Whakapapa | History
Founded in July 1926 by visionary women from the Women’s Division of the Farmer’s Union, our organisation was born out of a need for health resources in rural communities.
Today we continue to bring our care to your space, wherever you are. Access Uru Ātea,including our specialised nursing division, Total Care Health, works in homes and communities throughout Aotearoa New Zealand. It’s even in our name. Uru Ātea means to enter into a space, your space, which we do with respect and always with the intent of creating a better day, every day.
