Disability support

We provide hauora suport for daily living, community activities, respite services, planning, Individualised Funding (IF) and whānau support for tāngata whaikaha, disabled people. We are dedicated to respecting mana, fostering self-determination and working in partnership to create a future where all disabled people can live a better day, every day.

Disability support throughout New Zealand

We are here to support your aspirations and those of your whānau, empowering you to live the life you choose. Guided by the principles of Enabling Good Lives (EGL), we provide flexible disability support that puts you in control, offering the choice and information you need to make decisions that align with your goals.

At Access, we focus on what matters most to you, advocating for your rights and respecting your culture, dignity, and self-determination. If you choose IF, our expert Kaimanaaki journey alongside you, ensuring you have all the information and support you need to make informed choices.

We offer a full range of disability supports, including specialised nursing care and complex needs management, with a dedicated team of nurses and support workers who provide 24-hour care when required.

Getting funded services

Our services are free if your needs are approved for government funded disability support services, including the option of IF.  You can also opt to pay privately, or use a combination of funding options.  Contact us for help to access funded services.

Flexible supports

Our flexible supports are tailored to yours and your whānau needs, empowering you to choose the services that help you live the life you want, on your terms.

Respite Care

Take a break with confidence that your loved one is cared for.  Taking a break benefits your health and wellbeing and ensures you get some time to recharge and refresh, benefitting not only you but your loved ones too.  We take the time to discuss with you how to enable the break,  understanding that not all respite is alike.

Individualised Funding

Individualised Funding (IF) and Personal Budgets are Ministry of Health funded services.  People who are eligible for these supports have the flexibility and control to manage their own funding and to employ support workers they choose.

Our Commitments

We are committed to upholding the principles of EGL, Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD).  We believe in empowering tāngata to make informed choices, honouring the partnership with whānau and ensuring full participation of disabled people in communities.
